Welcome to the STRAW Scarecrow Festival website!
Running from Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th September 10am-5pm, the lovely local people of Luton will pop their scarecrows outside their homes and we can all marvel at their creativity.
To take part and build one please register using our REGISTER page, that way you'll be on the map and voting form. If you live too far 'a field', then you can pop your scarecrow into the Stopsley Community garden for the weekend, just let us know that you are there so you're on the map and voting form.
If you would just like to have a butchers at the scarecrows but not build one, take a look at our Scarecrow Map and visit as many of them as you can. Then vote for your favourite ones on our VOTE page or use our printed form you can find in our local Co-ops.
We do this to create a sense of community but also fundraise for a local charity - year we are raising money for Homeless Cat Rescue. To donate please go to our DONATE page and click the link. Please give generously.
